Rainbow’s end

Rainbow’s end

Rainbow’s end
lies here
sprung from the most colorful grey
to ever cover the rest
The reddest stain
forever burnt in Glencoe’s low
The highest road to bonnie banks
and deepest dark to dive
where golden light can’t touch

Green almost everywhere
just hidden
countless tones of brown
reverberating in the chest
on closing both eyes

and here it is
where all colors merge:
tiny white dots
against a blueish sky

in this place
this no-mans-land
I’ve never seen a person

be unkind
